We've been working on the concept of "gentle". Michael LOVES the cat....the feeling is not exactly mutual when he expresses his love by grabbing both ears and attempting to eat Austin's face. (On the upside my totally neurotic cat somehow has tapped into the patience of a saint and will put up with such behavior for limited amounts of time)

Wow - Austin must be a saint. Freya is nowhere near that patient. Not that I blame her - Asher is a bulldozer.

That "gentle" thing: we're trying that too. It's not working. At all. Is Michael actually complying with "gentle" yet?

Yeah, not so much. I say "gentle", he looks at me, laughs and yanks out a clump of fur...but, we still try. "No glasses" is at least working and he'll only try for a minute to pull the glasses off of my face for use as a teething toy.
