Were you in the car at the time? I'm glad the damage isn't too bad. The same thing happened in my parking lot accident..while I did have body damage, the impact sound was SO bad compared to what I found when I got out. Are you still going to submit it to insurance? Bummer to have that happen when it's your good car! :-(

I probably won't submit it. At first, the most frustrating part was that the guy actually kept driving. As Meg pointed out, given the circumstance - he was coming down a very steep hill covered (and I do mean covered) in ice as I was sitting facing up the hill - it's likely he stopped at the bottom.

I got out of the car, saw the almost non-existent damage, and decided not to even try to track him down. At that point, I just really wanted to get home.

It really is just a paint scratch - not even a dent! - so I'm not too concerned.

About my Grandma - thanks, J. She was a good lady who lived a very long life. I'm really, really glad my Dad was able to be there.

It's gonna be a topsy-turvy week or so. Christmas, Ash's birthday, her funeral. Lots of big stuff!
